Collection of general information when visiting our website
When you visit our website, cookies are used to collect and store general information. This information (server log files) includes details about your web browser, operating system, the domain name of your Internet service provider and other similar information. None of this information can be used to identify you personally.
This information is required for technical reasons to enable the correct delivery of the requested website content and is generated automatically when using the Internet. It is processed for the following purposes in particular:
We may, from time to time, statistically analyse anonymous information of this kind in order to optimise our website and the underlying technology.
Registering with our website
If you register to use our personalised services, we store certain personal data, such as your name, address and contact details, including your telephone number and e-mail address. Once registered with us, you have access to content and services that is available only to registered users.
You can assert your rights as a data subject at any time with regard to these services.
To protect your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption technologies (for example, SSL) via HTTPS.
If you register for our newsletter, we use the necessary data or data that you have provided specifically for this purpose to send you our newsletter on a regular basis in accordance with the consent that you have provided. To verify that a subscription request was made by the owner of the e-mail address, we implement a double opt-in procedure, which involves logging the newsletter request, the sending of a confirmation e-mail and receipt of the requested response. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time either by sending a message to the contact details provided below or using the relevant link in the newsletter.
The data is used only for the purposes of sending the newsletter and is not passed on to third parties outside of the NEXUS corporate group.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereafter: Google). Google Analytics uses “cookies”. These are text files placed on your computer that enable the website to analyse how you use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will usually be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Due to the fact that IP anonymisation is activated on these web pages, your IP address will, however, first be truncated within the Member States of the European Union or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the entire IP address first be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for the website operator and providing other services to the website operator relating to website activity and Internet usage. The IP address transferred by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
You can prevent Google from collecting and using data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB
Opt-out cookies prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. To prevent Universal Analytics from collecting data across several devices, you must opt-out on all systems used. If you click here, the opt-out cookie will be set:
Use of Google script libraries (Google Webfonts)
To display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing form across different browsers, our website uses script libraries and font libraries, such as Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Webfonts are transferred to your browser's cache to prevent the need for repeated loading. If your browser does not support or prevents access to Google Webfonts, the content is displayed using a standard font.
Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically creates a connection to the library's operator. It is therefore possible in theory – although it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes – that the operator of such libraries may collect data.
Embedded YouTube videos
We embed YouTube videos on some of our websites. The corresponding plug-ins are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, it will connect to YouTube’s servers. YouTube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can link your surfing behaviour to your account. This can be prevented by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
This website uses conversion tracking. If you were directed to our website by clicking on an ad, Google AdWords will store a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad served by Google. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification of the user. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can tell that you clicked on the ad and proceeded to that page. Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of different AdWords advertisers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for the AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, advertisers do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can prevent your browser from setting the necessary cookies by disabling all cookies in your browser settings or adjusting your browser settings to block cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.
Note that you cannot delete the opt-out cookies if you do not want to be included in metrics analytics. Once you have deleted all the cookies in your browser, you will need to reset the relevant opt-out cookie.
We reserve the right to adjust this Privacy Statement to meet new legal requirements or to incorporate changes to our services in the Privacy Statement (for example, upon the introduction of new services). The new Privacy Statement applies when you visit our website again.
